Full-bodied and smooth with black plum, blackberry and mocha aromas. Nice balance. Great for barbecues.

Reviews and Ratings

Lee Newby - AIWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Grape Variety: 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc

Very good plus wine showing black cherry and plums, with dried figs loaded over sweet bakers spices and a savoury black olive note. The wine has good complexity and medium plus fruit concentration. The medium tannins are rounded and give good structure with the medium minus acidity. The finish is long. Drink now will improve for 2-3 years and drink for 6-7 years.
Deeply coloured with impressive concentration of ripe cassis, raspberry, cherry and woodsmoke accented by subtle spice. The good structure here hints at 5+ years of cellar potential, though it’s drinking very well now. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
