Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Seductive, complex, balanced, and robust. This wine screams quality, and refinement. Luscious, packed with fruit, herbs, and minerality. Smooth and focused, this is a wine to enjoy now or lay down for 10 years and enjoy its evolution. Tasted January 2015. 93 points. Matt Steeves www.quercusvino.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a beautiful new world red from Chilean legend Concha Y Toro, Terrunyo lot 17, showing refinement and complexity with bright red fruit, dark cherry, baking spice, graphite minerality, Chilean Carmenere typicity. The fruit was grown at 170 m above sea level on the terraces of the coastal mountain range in Cachapoal Valley. Vinified yielding wonderful acidity, full bodied, integrating silky tannins and a rich supple mouthfeel. This is a wine which will cellar well into 2022. Offers great value. Pairs well with BBQ and braised meats. Tasted Sept 2016, @jonsteeves rated 92/100.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
