Superb in every way! Complex, deep, savoury and bursting with luscious black fruit aromas and flavours. This wine gives and gives right out to a long finish. Yum!

Reviews and Ratings

Jeremy Sprott rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A big wine that fills the mouth. Invitingly deep purple in the glass, the nose is full of lush jammy black fruits, peppery and sweet spices and a little herbaceousness; all of which carried through beautifully in the mouth.
Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A big bold wine with lots of color in the glass. Aromas of spice, tobacco and oak greet you with the first introduction to this full bodied wine. Medium tannins and a distinct acidity, this wine had a beautiful long finish. This highly versatile wine will pair well with savory dishes including lamb, pork and beef.
Terrunyo is the Spanish word for terroir, and winemaker Ignacio Recabarren crafts this single-vineyard version to reflect its unique origins. This premium Carmenère is consistently highly rated by wine-lovers and wine-writers alike. The wine recently won a Gold Medal at the 2012 Japan Wine Challenge. Enjoy over the next 5-10 years.
