A robust and savoury red wine blend made from mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash of Merlot wine grapes all grown at 1,160 metres above sea level. Aged for 13 months in 80% new French oak barrels and 20% second use French oak. Mouth-watering with blackberry, cassis, cedar spice and nutty flavours on the palate. Enjoy with a grilled steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: Margherita pizza, barbecued ribs in sauce, New York strip loin, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Susana Balbo's Signature 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is robust and savoury with blackberry, dried florals, hazelnut and cedar spice flavours on the palate. Refreshing, well-balanced and elegant. Winemaker Susana Balbo has been unofficially dubbed the "Evita of Wine" in her native Argentina. She had been making superb wine for 25 years as a winemaking consultant before establishing her own winery, Dominio del Plata, in 1999. The Signature line of wines are her premium portfolio. - Community Wine Reviews
