Sugar Loaf 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from sustainably grown grapes sourced from the Rapaura region in Marlborough. The winery was so named after the Sugar Loaf Islands, a collection of five small now uninhabited islands near Port Taranaki, Taranaki, New Zealand where Kate Iceland, winery founder, grew up. These islands are currently designated a Marine Protected Area (SLIMPA) established in 1991 to protect the area from oil exploration. Look for ripe, juicy peach, feijoa, pear and lime-lemon zest aromas and flavours vibrant on the palate. Fabulous and so moreish.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: grilled fish, fish tacos, pan-fried panfish.
