This Californian red wine is actually a blend, mostly Petite Sirah (usually around 80%), then the remainder usually leads with Syrah and Grenache grapes and a splash of Viognier and Carignan.

Petite Sirah food pairings: venison, barbecued steak, pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Napa Valley Stags' Leap Winery 2015 Petit Sirah is the darkest purple in the glass, spicy with a ripe blackberry nose. On the palate, the wine is dry, full-bodied with juicy and intense layers of ripe black, blueberries, dried herbs with a smattering of smoke and black pepper lingering on the palate. Tannins are chewy. Pair with roast venison or moose filet mignon. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
