A gloriously well-crafted Californian red wine with seductive aromas of black fruit on the nose and palate. Full-bodied, rich, deep and concentrated red wine blend of 85% Petite Sirah and 15% of a mixed, "field" blend of Carignan, Mourvèdre, Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache, Syrah and Peloursin. Pair with game dishes.

Petite Sirah food pairings: rib roast, pork long ribs on the barbeque, stuffed veal breast roast.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

A beautifully crafted full bodied Californian red from the Napa Valley. Deep purple in the glass with exquisite notes of licorice, cracked black pepper, blackberry, blueberry, violet and earth. This wine is superbly crafted with silky tannins and a round mouthfeel, masterfully presenting itself as an outstanding Petite Syrah with substantial aging potential over the next decade and then some.
Stags' Leap Winery Ne Cede Malis (2013) is a deep red, almost black, full-bodied Petite Sirah from the Napa Valley. The robust red wine blend is 85% Petite Sirah and 15% mix of Carignan, Mourvèdre, Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache, Syrah and Peloursin. This plushy red is earthy violets, ripe black plum, leather and anise on the palate. Needs to be decanted one hour prior to serving with gourmet game burgers. - Community Wine Reviews
