Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A fragrant Pinot Noir with aromas of strawberry preserve, Montmorency cherry, rose, sweet spice, and hints of cedar and cocoa. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fresh acidity and smooth tannins and flavours of tart plum and baking spices.

Tasted at the Pure Discovery New Zealand Wine event in Ottawa May 2019.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Showing an attractive shade of ruby red, this pinot noir from Marlborough delivers layers of elegant red fruit intermixed with notes of chocolate, forest floor and black pepper. Polished tannins. From a producer accredited under the New Zealand Sustainability Winegrowing scheme, this medium bodied pinot has aged beautifully.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A smooth and well-structured Marlborough Pinot noir, giving balanced notes of cherries, cocoa, slight forest floor and sweet spice. Look for it in the June 2019 Vintages release.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
