Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This starts off with a delightfully tangy citrus based aroma with strong green apple and pear notes; this delicious tangy aroma and taste is due to Southbrooks use of a wild ferment process. In the mouth, the tangy citrus and apple taste continues. This fresh and well balanced wine would work well with roast chicken or creamy pasta. This is organic and vegan friendly.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is not your typical Ontario Chardonnay, being earthier and rounder on the palate. It has nice weight and an enjoyable citrus and stone fruit theme with some underlying barnyard on a medium plus finish. Embrace the earthy theme of this organic and vegan offering and pair with something like goat cheese soufflé or mushroom risotto. Tasted February 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Southbrook Triomphe 2016 is vegan-friendly and made from organically grown Chardonnay grapes from the Niagara wine region. Dry, medium-bodied, creamy with ripe peach, dried pineapple, soft with smoky and well-integrated oak spice flavours. Pair with Butternut squash pasta and a creamy sage dressing. - Community Wine Reviews
