Reviews and Ratings

David Skinner rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale gold and clean. An organic wine with some fermentation on lees evident in its nose of apple, pear and a kiss of butterscotch. The aromas are reflected again on the palate against a backdrop of zesty acidity and some minerality. A medium-long finish that's well balanced between fruit and oak.

Try it with a smoked chicken pappardelle dish.
Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Southbrook Vineyards is committed to organic and biodynamic viticulture (Demeter certified) and they often use indigenous yeasts in their fermentation process. Their 2014 Triomphe Chardonnay is straw yellow, and offers up aromas of roasted peanuts, bread yeast, lemon and vanilla. It is dry (2 g/L sugar), but full-bodied and crisp. It offers up lemon and yeasty notes and a long palate-cleansing finish. This is a versatile food wine owing to its high acidity. I would pair this with pan seared scallops.
