Natalie's Score: 92/100

Love this style of Oregonian Pinot Noir! Fleshy ripe raspberries yet not jammy. Dark spices and intrigue and a wonderfully seductive velvet texture. Full-bodied but not heavy. The vines for this wine are planted in the iron-rich red soils of the Dundee Hills in the Willamette Valley, which helps with photosynthesis. Pair this wine with seared tuna.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roasted pork loin, veal medallions, lamb in a red wine sauce, beef bourguignon, coq au vin.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

From Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon, a light garnet red dry Pinot Noir with a delicious nose of ripe red cherries, vanilla and mocha. The palate shows same with baking spice touches of cloves, cinnamon, licorice and forest floor. Finely balanced silky mouthfeel and a long ripe berry finish.
This Oregonian Pinot Noir is sustainably farmed in the rain, drizzle, fog, sunshine and sun that is the Dundee Hills. The wine is aged for 16 months in 45% new French oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
