Loving this fresh blackberry and minty nose on this Sidewood 2015 cool-climate Shiraz. On the palate, juicy dark cherry, red plum, anise and cake spice flavours with velvety tannins. The Shiraz was fermented in stainless steel tank with 25% being whole bunch fermented. The wine was matured in 30% new French oak barrels. Fantastic pairing with grilled meats. Enjoy now and for the next 10 years.

Shiraz food pairings: roast pheasant with sauerkraut, grilled marinated game birds, Hasenpfeffer.

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This wine is simply effortless. It’s core of bramble fruit and ripe fruit plum give way to mint, dried flowers and a hit of hung meat. Gorgeous and not overdone. 92 Points.
