Natalie's Score: 90/100

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this Washington State red came from Wahluke Slope. The Seven Falls name is in honour of the falls that flowed into the Columbia River. This is a superb Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon, with attractive aromas of fleshy black plum and mocha. Chalky dry and full-bodied. Some blackberry on the finish. Great balance, with a deep red-garnet colour. Finishes with vanilla smoke.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: rare Porterhouse steak, gourmet burgers, roast pork.

Reviews and Ratings

Maryse Migue rated this wine as 92/100
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Crafted from grapes hailing from the Wahluke slope sub appellation of Washington State - jammy dark fruit, spice, black pepper and tobacco. This full bodied and dry red would be a perfect accompaniment to hearty meat dishes.
From Wahluke Slope, Columbia Valley, Washington Seven Falls (2014) is a well-priced Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with ripe dark plum, dark chocolate and savory finish. - Community Wine Reviews
