Natalie's Score: 92/100

From the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence wine region, Saint Aix 2020 is fragrant with ripe raspberry, wild herbs and mineral aromas on the nose. Dry, medium-bodied and zesty with raspberry, red berry, wild herb and briny mineral flavours creamy on the palate matched with crisp acidity. Enjoy with salmon steaks from the grill. The vineyard was converted from a truffle orchard to a vineyard in the early 1900s.

Rosé food pairings: endive and ham in Mornay white sauce, chicken a la king, tagliatelle with ham.

Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A favourite and near perfect rosé from the Aix-en-Provinc southern region of France.
An enticing bouquet of white flowers, rhubarb, cranberries, and freshly picked strawberries, carrying through to a mouthwatering lemon-grapefruit finish.
Perfectly paired with Margherita pizza or soft cheeses.
Tasted (all summer long, and also last in...) Sept 2021.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine is the epitome of summer. Aromas of strawberry, cherry and orange blossoms with a hint of lime. Light bodied, smooth and creamy with balancing, medium acidity on the palate. Red berry notes are round and ripe, and there are hints of citrus and minerality on a crisp finish. Enjoy with fresh seafood dishes or enjoy on a sunny patio.
