Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Nov. 12th 2017. Colour pale yellow. Legs quick suggests low alcohol. Aromas and flavours of, intense smoke, honey, salt, white nectarine, pink grapefruit. Taste aromatic, fruity of more pithy rind, Savory, oily, finishes with medium length grapefruit.
Paired nice with Stirstik (brand) pumpkin bread with chocolate chips. Did not seem to pair well with cheese (Oka, smoked cheddar, or baby bell.) more of an aperitif wine. Late harvest style. Tandoori almonds also paired well.
Ruppertsberger Hofstück Spätlese (2016) from the Pfalz is a Gewürztraminer Prädikatswein. This wine has a pronounced nose of lychee, rosewater, lemon zest and ginger. Nicely sweet and at 10% abv -- this is your perfect pad Thai wine, or pair with spicy curries and sushi. Very versatile and great value under $20. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
