An opulent and juicy Californian Chardonnay from the Chalk Hill wine region. Great balance and finesse on this toasty, full-bodied, mouth-watering Chard with ripe red apple, tropical fruit, lemon custard and vibrant citrusy mineral finish. Pair with grilled pork chops.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken in wild mushroom sauce, baked chicken in rose sauce, roast turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

From Sonoma County, California Rodney Strong Chalk Hill 2017 Chardonnay is dry, full-bodied with ripe pear, apple, guava, baking spices and lemon curd rounded off with toasty oak spice. Excellent poise and balance on the Chard. In 1965, Rodney Strong was the first to plant Chardonnay in what was later recognized as the Chalk Hill appellation in Sonoma County. - Community Wine Reviews
