Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

From Spain's Rioja region. An extra-dry flavourful blend of 80% Tempranillo, with Red Garnacha 15% and Mazuelo 5%, aged in American oak and then bottle for 24 mos. Aromas of red cherries, leather, vanilla, oak, with more vanilla and baking spices on a very well-balanced, satiny mouth-watering palate, followed by long elegant finish. Enjoy with roast lamb.
Produced by Bodegas Franco Españolas, this robust red wine is a blend of 80% tempranillo, 15% garnacha and 5% Mazuelo grapes, matured in American oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
