Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Alex: Expressive, exotic nose of cherry cola, chocolate shavings, raspberry jam and fresh plum. Rich but streamlined palate, fine cocoa-berry melange, a sumptuous mid-palate, and a finish of medium + length with chewy medium tannins. Just a bit of heat felt, but sappy and chocolatey, with a sound buoy of acidity. Delicious, and remains one of the top zinfandel-focused wines to me.
The 2013 vintage of Ridge's Geyserville is another blockbuster Californian red wine that could use serious cellar aging. Full-bodied with a long finish. - Community Wine Reviews
