A delicate, light-bodied, off-dry Riesling with aromas of pear and peach. This would be great with dishes that have a glaze or chutney.

Riesling food pairings: appetizers, Spicy Thai, Middle Eastern, Mexican dishes, fresh salads.

Reviews and Ratings

Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Pale yellow color!

Notes of spice, dill, mushroom and honey.

The acidity is nerve, The style is refined and the body is complex.

Serve it at 8-10 degrees.

Pair it with a good piece of salmon with lemon and dill.

Ready to drink but can be aged up to 4-5 years.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Wildflower honey and peach, pear and apple fruits. Beautiful bright acidity that isn't expected with the sweet aromas. Great balanced wine with a complex honey finish. Would pair great with a glazed pork tenderloin.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lively example of Ontario Riesling. Off-dry and light-bodied with succulent aromas and flavours of apples, apple crisp, vanilla, sweet spices, honey. Slight petrol and refreshing acidity reminds me this is Riesling. Length is long with a creamy finish.
Pair with Asian dishes, hot chicken wings, sausage, BBQ potato chips!!!
Serve well chilled.
Tasted: August 2014

Irina Omari rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Good wine. I like my Riesling very dry ( and generally most of my wines) so this one was a different experience. A touch of sweetness make it easier to enjoy as the acidity does not hit you straight away. Instead you get notes of Apple, pear, and surprisingly a bit of honey. On top of that lovely flower and herbal notes. Should be very chilled and then it would be a wonderful addition to summer wine list.
Tom Vigeant reviewed this wine as follows:

Apple, honey and a bit of citrus on the nose. Some residual sugar on the palate but well balanced by crisp acidity. Medium body. Long finish but acidity point a little bit high at time of tasting. Needs a couple of years, has the backbone required to age.
