Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark berries, leather and chocolate, carry through with a luxurious mouth feel, balanced tannin and acidity, and a persistent peppery finish.
Perfect with steak!
Tasted May 2017.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful cool climate Niagara River CS. Showing full bodied, oaked, with red currant, tart field berry and a hint of old world leather. Pair with roast beef or bbq steak. Balanced and integrating well. Tasted 2014 Reserve after decanting 2h in July 2017. 90 points. BespokeTastings
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Long barrel fermentation (16 days) on the skins for this Reserve Cab Sauv, and 18 months in French and Hungarian barriques, and it shows - smokey, dried black currant , spice and (fancy) shoe leather. Stewed wild black raspberries, leather, smoke, bitter cocoa, fine tannins and delicious acidity on the palate. Perfect with seared lamb chops.
