Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This medium-bodied Chardonnay was crafted using wild fermentation and aged 12 months in French oak. The nose is bright with apple, pear, butter, sweet spices. The palate is juicy with pear shining and a long creamy honeyed finish. Medium acidity is cleansing and balanced. A very nice cool climate chardonnay from the new sister winery in the Tawse portfolio. Enjoy now.
Chardonnay pairings: seared buttery scallops, seafood linguine, cream cheeses
Tasted: February 2015
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A tropical banana nose followed by a delicious palate with ripe pineapple, coconut and vanilla. Yummy buttery, coconut finish.
The 2011 vintage of this Niagara Chardonnay is made from grapes grown in vineyards on the Beamsville Bench. The wine underwent a wild yeast fermentation and was then matured for 1 year in French oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
