Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Aromas of red berry, cassis and plum, with hints of vanilla and oak. Full bodied, with some young, rounded tannins, bright acidity, and lots of ripe berry notes. More oak and spice notes on the finish. Enjoy with prime rib.
From South Islands wine region, Pelee Island Vinedressers 2016 Meritage is rich with dark berry and cassis aromas; vibrant and fresh with blackberry, plum, dill, minty vanilla and smoky, toasty oak spice flavours silky on the palate. Excellent with grilled lamb shoulder chops. - Community Wine Reviews
