Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon colour with enticing aromas and flavours of citrus, peach, toast, smoke, nuts, butter. A nice mouthcoating texture with racy cleansing acidity. This medium-bodied white wine from Spain makes a nice change from Chardonnay. Enjoy it with shellfish, Tilapia, calamari, Paella.
Tasted: June 2015
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Clean moderate intensity aromas from stone fruit (apricot), fresh red apple, honey and an odd hay note. This albarino is light bodied, off-dry, and carries high acidity. Key flavours include: grapefruit, lime, mineral and a touch of honey. The mouthfeel and texture is slightly oily as well. Pair this long finishing wine with shellfish.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

PAZO DAS BRUXAS Translates roughly as "Dance of the Witches". Lovely fresh citrus nose, lots of lemon on the palate, racy acidity and a long citrus finish. Great with shellfish, salads or on a hot day - better than lemonade!
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale gold colour, the nose shows chalky minerality wrapped up in tropical and stone fruit. Ideal with seafood and grilled fish, Albranio is a terrific white wine to enjoy in the summer. Tasted June 2015. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Galician witches -- called bruxas (thus the wine's name) -- conjured spirits with dance. Love them already. Albariño wines are terrific with shellfish. This vibrant Spanish white wine is produced by Familia Torres. - Community Wine Reviews
