Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Rich and expressive with that hallmark Marlborough freshness, Oyster Bay's Pinot shows dark cherries, plums, raspberry, sweet spices, dark chocolate, herbs, and a hint of earthiness on the nose. Dry, medium bodied, this Pinot is remarkably smooth with refreshing dark cherries and sweet spices persisting on the finish. A great wine to enjoy with grilled New Zealand lamb lollipops, gourmet burgers, or maple glazed salmon. Tasted July 2021. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This wine consistently delivers every vintage. Aromas of raspberry, dried spices, warm earth and a hint of leather. Medium bodied with light tannins and mouthwatering acidity. Berry notes on the palate are ripe with just a hint of tartness and there are notes of mocha, herbs and warm earth on the finish. Enjoy with cedar-planked salmon.
