A full-bodied Cab with a splash of Merlot and Tannat added to the blend. Nicely layered with ripe dark fruit, sweet dried tobacco leaf, smoky vanilla and oak spice flavours on the palate supported by structured tannins. The wine was aged 18 months French and American oak barrel. Pair with roast beef.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: roast leg of venison, roast garlic and herb partridge, fresh green herbs lamb hamburgers.
