A full-bodied Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from one of the best known wineries in British Columbia, Mission Hill. Concentrated with ripe red and dark berry flavours, cassis, earthy herbs and smoky flavours on the palate. Finishing long and satisfying. Enjoyable now, but better in three years as it mellows.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: ribeye steak, pork roast, lamb kebabs.

Reviews and Ratings

Mission Hill's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 is part of the winery's Reserve Series of wines sourcing select grapes from 15% of estate vineyards, accessing 75% of the same vineyard blocks from vintage to vintage. Wine grapes for the 2017 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from two estate vineyards on the Black Sage Bench in Osoyoos, the most southern wine grape-growing region in British Columbia. The Cab Sauv. Reserve is a full-bodied, intense 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with rich dark berry, plum, cedar spice, smoky vanilla and savoury herb flavours finishing long on the palate. The wine matured 16 months in French and American oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
