Reviews and Ratings

Beverly Crandon rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

On colour, the Miguel Torres Cordillera Carmenère Blend 2007 holds a garnet red hue. On the nose, scents of plum, spice, and eucalyptus are present. One the palate, you’ll find that this red blend is extremely smooth, with refined tannins and sumptuous fruit structures holding tastes of plum and dark berries, along with dark chocolate.

This is a fantastic sipping wine that works well on its own, or paired with your lamb and pork dishes.
Full bodied, soft, plummy and simply bursting with fruit and varietal character, especially eucalyptus and leather, this is a brilliant example of Carmenère at its best. Miguel Torres put the Curicó Valley on the wine map when he arrived in 1979, and this version of Chile’s signature grape, and will mark your table as a destination for deliciousness.
