A full-bodied, luscious Niagara Cabernet Franc with the extract of flavour on the front not the back palate. Made form old vines that deliver that extra concentration. The vines are planted in dolamite and limestone soils. Savoury and juicy. Pair with grilled pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I thoroughly enjoyed this medium-bodied Cab Franc. On the nose, juicy plum aromas along with tart cherry, violet, and sweet spice. On the palate, there's beautiful harmony between the freshness and body of the wine. Aromas of tart plum, chocolate, with a spicy green peppercorn finish.

Tasted at the Taste Ontario event in April 2019.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lovely and full of flavour. This Cabernet Franc was harvested in late November, cool fermented and aged in neutral oak. Aromas of plum, ripe berry and a floral hint. Full bodied and smooth on the palate with balanced acidity and a lengthy finish. Enjoy with grilled pork.
Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

I discovered this wine at the Taste Ontario event in Ottawa April 3, 2019. What a pleasant red. I would pair it with a good bowl of pasta in a tomato sauce.
