McManis 2020 Petite Sirah is produced from sustainably-grown grapes from the estate vineyard in the Lodi wine region. There is a splash of Tannat and Teroldego grapes to add texture and tannins to the wine which was fermented in stainless-steel tanks and aged six months in French oak barrels. Look for spicy, robust and earthy flavours along with ripe dark fruit and vibrant acidity on the palate. Pour with bison burgers or a game tourtière.

Petite Sirah food pairings: grilled beef ribs, smoked brisket sandwiches, lamb shoulder roast.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel Bernard rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Absolutely amazing wine!
Produced from sustainably, estate-grown grapes from the Lodi wine region, McManis 2020 Petite Sirah is a robust red blend of mostly Petite Sirah with some Tannat and Teroldego for extra tannin, colour and complexity. Dry, full-bodied and juicy with ripe dark berry, earthy violets, plum with a spicy finish on the palate. The wine was fermented in stainless-steel tank and then aged six months in French oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
