Reviews and Ratings

Simon Chen rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

beautiful rose petal, strawberry, and raspberry aromas. Good balance between fruits and acid. Well structured and leave with very smooth tea-like dryness. Great burgundy
Clos de la Barre is a Premier Cru climat of the Volnay appellation in the Cote de Beaune. The finest vineyards are surrounded by Pommard to the north and Meursault to the south and are typically planted mid-slope on the Cote d'Or. This Pinot Noir from Louis Jadot, Clos Barre Volnay (2012) is perfumed with a silky smooth texture, red berry fruit and vanilla musk. Acidity is zesty and the wine has a long mineral finish. - Community Wine Reviews
