Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Easy drinking wine, from the Bodegas Hacienda Lopez de Haro, located in the heartland of the Rioja region in Spain. The Crianza 2015 offers aromas of fig, raisin, mustard seed, pastrami, cigar box and chocolate. Made from 90% Tempranillo, 7% Garnacha and 3% Graciano, this medium-bodied wine shows some character and balance with a lovely smoky finish. Palate will reveal dried fruit, black pepper, bay leaf, tobacco and oak; perfect with any meat dish. Enjoy.
López De Haro 2015 Crianza is produced from 90% Tempranillo, 7% Garnacha and 3% Graciano. Nicely herbal on the nose with bright cherry, strawberry aromas. Dry and earthy with smoky ripe cherries, braised meat, savoury thyme, lavender and mint flavours on the palate. The wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 18 months. Perfect pairing to smoky ribs in barbeque sauce. - Community Wine Reviews
