Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Classic and well made Spanish wine from the Rioja Valley, the Hacienda Lopez de Haro, Crianza 2016 offers all that any Spaniard should. Made from 90% Tempranillo, 7% Garnacha and 3% Graciano, the wine delivers aromas of strawberry sauce, fig, black pepper, parmesan cheese, cigar box and cedar. Balanced and tasteful for any occasion, the wine pleases with its supple dried fruit finish. Palate: cherry, dried blueberry, dried leaves, leather, tobacco, wood burner and cedar. Enjoy!
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A Crianza (blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano) from Rioja, Spain, this wine was aged in American oak for 3 years. From old vines, dark berry aromas and fruity with low tannins on the palate. Serve with smoked cold cuts or pizza.
Hacienda López De Haro Crianza 2016 is an easy-to-enjoy, medium-bodied red blend of 90% Tempranillo, 7% Garnacha and 3% Graciano. Smoky on the nose with sweet cherry aromas. Dry, with cherry compote, red berries, dried sweet tobacco leaf flavours vibrant on the palate. Enjoy now with a Margherita pizza. - Community Wine Reviews
