Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a fascinating and complex white wine that is perfect for summer sipping or pairing with lighter fare. On the nose it presents strong green apple notes, followed by aromas reminiscent of oak (vanilla, caramel) and subtle nuttiness. Then come citrus (clementine and lemon) and white flower (jasmine/orange blossom). This medium weight wine hits the palate with mouthwatering and refreshing acidity. Its crisp flavours of green apple, lemon drop and orange offer a medium finish and are the perfect match for salads with goat cheese or seafood dishes.
From Austria, this Gruner Veltliner from the Kamptal wine region is ripe pear and fresh herbs. Loimer Langenlois (2015) has a refreshing spritz in the wine with a zesty citrus acidity. Very clean and very good with seafood. - Community Wine Reviews
