Leaning Post The Fifty 2019 Chardonnay is a cool-climate, unoaked and zesty Chard with amazing acidity for roast turkey and chicken dishes. Fresh on the nose and palate with bright apple, pear, grapefruit, citrus zest, fine herbs and stony, flinty mineral flavours matched with mouth-watering, eye-winking acidity. The wine was aged in concrete tanks and was built to enjoy early and fresh.

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled salmon steaks, roast chicken, quiche, onion tarte, pork chops, roast chicken, turkey tournedos.

Terrific Turkey Wine

Reviews and Ratings

Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

I recently discovered the Fifty Chardonnay from Leaning Post and it was a great choice for a hot summer day. Nice aromas and flavours of peach and pear. Paired well with a shrimp salad.
Leaning Post The Fifty 2019 Chardonnay is a nervy and vibrant Chard from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. Look for bright, fresh apple, pear, lemon zest and flinty, stony mineral flavours on the palate. No oak treatment on this zesty Chard with elevage in concrete tank. Chill and enjoy with fresh-steamed shrimp or summer salads. - Community Wine Reviews
