Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A California Cabernet Sauvignon with roots in Nevada. Before establishing themselves in California's wine country, Rees T. Jenkins ranched and farmed in Lander, Nevada. Two generations later they have a sustainable winery in California's Central Coast. This is a medium+ bodied red wine with aromas of blueberry, cherry, plum, and vanilla while the palate brings caramel, toast, pepper. Tannins are mild and acidity balanced. A very nice wine. Red meat please! Excellent value.

Winemaker Morgan Zaninovich is the third generation of his family to make wine in California. This Californian Cabernet is made from grapes that are sustainably farmed in North Coast, Monterey County and Central Valley vineyards. - Community Wine Reviews
