Vintages Wine Panel: This wine is simultaneously modern and old school. Modern, because this fresh, bright, flavourful red is the product of a cutting-edge winery; old school, because it’s made with a higher percentage of Garnacha — a practice more common in Rioja Baja where superstar winemaker, Alvaro Palacios, is from. The blend here is 50% Tempranillo and 50% Garnacha. Look for aromas of blackberry jam, fresh raspberry and a hint of Mediterranean country herbs (a.k.a. garrigue). Enjoy this wine. It will also age gracefully for 4+ years. My note: A juicy, generous and voluptuous red with rich, round notes of black plums and berries. Full-bodied and smooth.

Tempranillo Garnacha food pairings: beef ragout, grilled liver and onions.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
