From Palacios Remondo, La Vendimia 2020 is medium-bodied, smooth and vibrant Rioja red blend of Tempranillo and Grenache produced from organically-grown grapes sourced from the Falda del monte Yerga Vineyard in La Rioja Baja wine region. Fresh on the palate with dark cherry, plum, dark berry and orange zest flavours that linger on the palate. Nicely done. Drink or hold.

Food pairings: leg of lamb, cheese, venison stew, hearty lasagne.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Made from two star grapes of Rioja, the Temranillo and Garnacha, La Vendimia 2020 delivers a classic Spanish wine, with aromas of sour cherry, dried blueberry, dried leaves, parmesan cheese, cinnamon, tobacco and cedar. Full body, silky tannins, balanced acidity and a fruit-forward finish, the wine offers delicious flavors of sour cherry, dried blackberry, fig, black pepper, cinnamon, dill and cedar. Fun fact: La Vendimia means “the harvest”. Enjoy!
