Liquid velvet! Black cherry seduction with mouth-watering yearning for more. Please! Complex with layered of dark berries that intermingle with a judicious use of oak. Cherry and raspberry jam on the midpalate: rich and delicious. Drink now or save for a few years: you have the luxury of that choice with this wine. Pair with holiday turkey. The grapes for this full-bodied red wine are grown in Sonoma's Russian River Valley appellation. Highly recommended.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled radicchio , zucchini frittata, seared tuna, barbecued duck, veggie mushroom burger.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Always a hit at my house and one of my go-to hostess gifts. Pale ruby colour with delicious aromas of cherry, raspberry, fresh plum, prune, fig, vanilla, pepper. The palate is smooth giving way to additions of cranberry, violets, black earth, cake spice. Refreshing acidity. Always consistent vintage after vintage which makes this an easy purchase. Pair with pizza, roast pork, rabbit stew, turkey with cranberry and stuffing.
