A full-bodied, well-rounded, buttery wine with lovely balancing acidity and citrus fruit notes. Ideal for roast chicken or seafood with cream sauces, as well as lobster in butter. Finishes with nuances of fresh golden apple, pear and crème brûlée.

Chardonnay food pairings: pasta with a rosé sauce, grilled turkey, cucumber and watercress sandwiches.

Reviews and Ratings

Rick Halpern rated this wine as 91/100
The Chardonnay grapes for this Californian white wine are a regional blend from vineyards in the Russian River valley. Pair with roast chicken. The 2014 vintage of the Chardonnay Russian River is all barrel-fermented and all of the wine undergoes a malolactic fermentation to soften the acids. The wine is aged for 8 months in 30% new French oak barrels before bottling. - Community Wine Reviews
