Butterscotch and vanilla smoke from toasty oak on the nose is followed by green apple and white peach notes. Full-bodied and generous with a nice finish. Full-bodied, rich and creamy, this wine has a lovely mouth-filling texture and weight. Let's have it with roast chicken tonight!

Chardonnay food pairings: turkey burgers, crab cakes, chicken breast.

Reviews and Ratings

Sara M - WSET Advanced reviewed this wine as follows:

A fruit-forward wine that shows it's Californian roots well with notes of apple, pineapple and pear. There is a hint of toast and hazelnut on the palate that strikes a harmonious balance with the fruit. This would be a wonderful wine to bring to a Spring celebration, and would pair well with a pear & walnut salad with garlic toast.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Tropical flavors such as mango and pineapple dance with aromas of peach, apple and pear. Richly layered and balanced throughout. Lightly buttered toast headlines the indulgent, lingering finish.

Rich notes of buttered toast, cantaloupe, mango, and banana cream pie. Creamy and round in the mouth, with plenty of sunny fruit tempered by impressive brightness and nicely restrained oak accents. A good choice. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Jan. 2013
