Reviews and Ratings

Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Aromas of barnyard, chocolate with hints of smoke and leather. Full bodied, ultra smooth and complex taste like silk and juicy dark fruit with a nice, long finish. What a delicious wine! Great buy! Great wine to bring to a dinner party or to your boss for Christmas!
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Evidence of time in wood on the nose. Tonnes of tart cherry that carries over to the long finish
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Warm notes of stewed dark fruit, smoke, and vanilla, great acidity and lovely tannic structure.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby colour. Long tears with medium staining. A bevy of black, tart cherry, cassis, raspberry, earth, tomato stem, truffles, forest floor. Lots of ripe fruit. Chocolate, lavender and plums. Flavours are elegant and expressive. Cherry, plums, raspberry, espresso bitterness and dark chocolate Medium+ body and finish length. Dry (7g/L) high acidity. Tart, grippy and nicely rounded. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Delicious! Put this with some flank steak and beef ribs and you’re set!

Great value! Full bodied, approachable, crowd pleasing Cali Cab Sauv. Ripe strawberry, cassis, blackberry. A wonderful red for BBQ season. Pair with gourmet burgers, delicious steaks or easily on it's own. Buy by the case. Tasted March 2017. 90 points.

Yum! Great value wine. Delicious black cherry and smoke on the nose, which translate to the palate with great acidity and beautifully integrated tannins. Will definitely be buying this one again!

Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A bit rustic on the nose but fun like a day at the market
The mouth is ligth and easy drinking. Good everyday choice
Sylvain Segard reviewed this wine as follows:

Dark garnet colour. Aromas of fresh dark berries and stewed plums with the freshness of morning dew on eucalyptus in the background. Medium-full bodied, integrated tannins with balanced acidity, pleasant soft mouthfeel. The palate repeats the juicy cassis and blackberry flavours and also includes dry cocoa, mint, and smoke flavours. This wine is ready to drink now or could benefit from additional ageing. It would be an excellent companion for a medium-rare roast beef or other grilled meats. Score 91. (S.Segard, reviewed March 27, 2017).
Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:

Ripe berries, some muted dried fruit, and smoky oak on the nose with tart cherry and roasted red pepper on the palate. Very easy going with low tannins and tart berries through the medium finish.
