A gloriously full-bodied and savoury Californian Zinfandel with layers of rich complexity and black plums. You can almost taste the Californian sunshine that warms these grapes into full, fleshy ripeness. Finishes with a whiff of campfire smoke and stories. Pair with grilled hamburgers and great friends.

Zinfandel food pairings: pizza, gourmet burgers, baby back ribs in a spicy sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Full-bodied, concentrated and smooth. Ripe black plum, cassis, licorice, leather, cedar and minty flavours go on and on. Enjoy with BBQ pulled pork sliders. Tasted July 2017 by @somsosa | bespketastings.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Juicy red and black berry fruit, earthy aged leather, a touch of smokiness, baking spice. Well balanced, integrated medium tannins and alcohol. Full bodied, robust and complex. A fantastic pairing with gourmet hamburgers and easily enjoyable on its own. Tasted the 2015 vintage in July 2017 after decanting 1 hour. 92 points. BespokeTastings
