Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Jackson-Triggs' Entourage Grand Reserve Brut 2014 Sparkling Brut is a great example of the high-quality and value-priced vintage sparkling wines coming from the Niagara Peninsula. This wine has earned top awards both internationally and here in Canada over the past few years, and having tasted the last three vintages, I'd say you'd be hard pressed to find a better vintage traditional method sparkling wine for under $30. A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, from the Niagara Peninsula, it shows a light gold colour with a complex and attractive nose complete with almond croissant, apple, pear, freshly baked lemon pie, wild flower honey, and river stone. Crisp and refreshing, the fine mousse coats and cleanses the palate leaving a fresh apple, biscuit, and mineral finish that persists until the next sip. Terrific with rich dishes, seafood, oysters on the half shell, and celebrating life's special moments. Enjoy 2018-2025. Tasted January 2018. 91+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
