Terrific quality and taste for the price! Toasty, refreshing and classic. Serve this at New Year's or a wedding with pride. Toasty with green apple goodness and a lovely and persistent mousse. This is classic and elegant with the right finesse for any celebration. Pair this zesty sparkling wine with lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters and grilled calamari seafood platter.

Food pairings: caviar, tempura, sushi or smoked trout.

Reviews and Ratings

Dianne Fisher - Sommelier, ISG rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

This is a terrific traditional method sparkling wine from Jackson Triggs. Priced at under $23 I find this is a great value find! Made from Pinot Noir (70%) and Chardonnay (30%) it offers the similar notes as a N/V Champagne with delicacy.

Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Jackson-Triggs Grand Reserve Entourage Sparkling Brut 2009 is very refreshing. Flavours and aromas of pear and apple make this bubbly very pleasing. Tasted October 7, 2013 (90/100)
Made in the traditional method of Champagne, this offers enticing notions of crisp apple, pear, sweetgrass and lemon custard. It’s quite toasty on the palate with brioche and pastry notes, plus a pleasing hayloft quality, all underscored by bright acidity and fresh fruit. Excellent balance throughout, with a complex finish.
