Sweet chocolate on the nose and palate with fleshy blackberries and lots of toasty oak. Full-bodied and supple. The Valdiguié grape adds plushness to this blend. Pair this wine with grilled pork chops.

Pinot Noir food pairings: coffee-rubbed steak, duck, veal.

Reviews and Ratings

J. Lohr Estates Falcon’s Perch (2014) Pinot Noir experienced the warmest growing season in 17 years in California's Monterey County. red wine grapes were ripe but with good acidity. Falcon’s Perch is so named for the falcon which had made its home in the lone pine tree among the vines. - Community Wine Reviews
