From the Central Otago on the South Island of New Zealand, the 2016 vintage of the Invivo is spicy, red and black cherry and a touch of vanilla on the nose. Drink now and for the next couple of years. Mocha and fleshy sweet cherry on the nose and palate of this luscious medium-bodied satin-smooth red wine from New Zealand made from the classic Pinot Noir grape. Pair with roast chicken.

Pinot Noir food pairings: lamb tangine, filet mignon of venison, rib steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale ruby in colour with delicate fruity aromas of bright red fruit; cherry, raspberry, cranberry and forest flowers. Flavours are nuanced reflecting the same on the palate. A few smokey woody notes also present. Very light. Medium plus acidity, light body, tannins and a longer finish with grilled red peppers continuing. A delightful pairing with Gouda cheese. 89 points- tasted March 2018
Invivo 2016 is produced from Pinot Noir from Central Otago, South Island, New Zealand. This is a lush, medium-bodied PN with juicy raspberry, cherry, damson plums wrapped up in cedar spice, smoky, toasty flavours on the palate. Simply delicious. Have on its own or with grilled lamb lollipops. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
