Although Inniskillin didn't invent Sparkling Icewine, they have perfected it. This vidal grape based bubbly has all the decadence you want in a dessert wines with the heaviness, high sweetness or high alcohol. The bubbles have a wonderfully drying effect in contrast to the wine's sweetness. Pair this sparkler with pâté or foie gras.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Every family has a matriarch and Inniskillin may just be that to Niagara's wine industry. From the icewine front runners comes this pretty sparkling vidal icewine. Fresh peaches, lychee, honey, orange marmalade, vanilla. Delectably sweet. Balancing the sweetness is refreshing acidity and a slight effervescence. Pair with cheeses or as dessert on it's own.
This wine was awarded a Silver Medal at the National Wine Awards of Canada 2014.
Tasted: December 2014
The 2012 vintage of this sparkling dessert wine won a Silver Medal at the 2014 National Wine Awards of Canada. Inniskillin is renowned for its Icewine, which is the dosage for this sparkling wine. The effervescence tames the perception of sweetness in the wine so it's more of a bridging wine that you can pair with nuts, cheeses and fruit flans. - Community Wine Reviews
