Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Loved Hester Creek Estate's 2018 Trebbiano, but I adore the 2019 offering. Fresh and youthful, it's a promise of happy spring days to come - even though it's snowing outside as I write this review.

Dry and delicate on the palate with flavours of honeyed-pear, fresh apricot, grapefruit, lavender, subtle fine herbs, finishing long and zesty with a mineral kiss. Tasted April 2020.

Produced from 50-year-old vines on Hester Creek Estate Winery's Block 16 vineyard. Dangerously delicious on its own, but we paired it with a mildly-spiced seafood ceviche. The winery suggests a grilled shrimp scampi pairing which would also be a perfect match.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely and so refreshing. Aromas of pear, peach, and honey blossom, with stony minerality. Medium bodied, with mouthwatering acidity, vibrant fruit notes and a crisp, mineral backbone. Enjoy with any fish or shellfish.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
