Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Brilliant medium rose colour with fresh and pretty aromas of strawberry, cherry, floral, juicy red candy, a hint of earthiness. The palate is pleasant with an earthiness again repeated with Swedish berries and cherry cola. Not overly sweet with good amount of acidity for balance. Good length on the finish. Serve slightly chilled. Pair with fruit, cheese and assorted nuts or on it's own.
Tasted: November 8,2014
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This dessert wine has flavours of citrus, red cherry, pomegranate, and slight warming spices. It is well balanced by refreshing acidity and lingers on the mouth-coating finish.
Serve on its own well-chilled or pair with white chocolate/cranberry/pistachio bark.
Drink now or cellar until 2020.
Date tasted: November 2014.
A pretty and interesting nose that offers up strawberry-rhubarb jam, cherry preserves, marmalade and a wealth of floral notes that will put you right in the midst of a spring flower garden. This is sweet, but not cloying as the fruit flavours and the rush of fresh acidity add a tangy brilliance. Very characterful with an awesome, lingering finish. Well done.
