Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Spectacular expression of Riesling. This is just beautiful, with aromas of lime, peach and green apple, with a mineral hint. Medium bodied, off-dry, with mouthwatering acidity, and vibrant ripe citrus notes on the palate. Enjoy with any seafood dishes or goat cheese appetizers.
From Short Hills Bench, Niagara Escarpment, Henry of Pelham Speck Family Reserve 2019 Riesling is produced from sustainably-grown grapes from Pelham's oldest estate vineyards (1984). A lovely expression and typicity of Riesling from this wine region with aromas of lime-lemon zest, bright apple, pear, citrus peel all coming together with a mouth-watering, chalky finish. Chill and enjoy with grilled seafood dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
